Christmas Eve Eve

I can't believe Christmas is two days away!  I remember a few months ago feeling like the end of the year would never get here... It took me a while but I got over the sad part of this Christmas and am eager to spend out last holiday as 2 - and excited for next year when we are a family of 3!

I got the little man a new trike recently.  I am pretty sure this will automatically make him the neighborhood stud.

He will win over the hearts of all the ladies with his awesome Schwinn Roadster Trike.  Love it!

We dragged out all the Christmas decorations (which we did not get to last year since we were in the home stretch of trying to complete our homestudy!) and bought a tree and have two new ornaments hanging on it this year.  I looked for a 2010 ornament for A last year and apparently was very picky and never found one I liked.  Now he has a 2010 and a 2011 ornament.  Still no stocking yet - maybe he can pick out his own next year.  :)

Can't wait to trek up the canyon for a long weekend with family and food and presents... M is hoping for a white Christmas (as usual), but I don't think it will turn out the way he hopes.  We did get snow the last two days, but the sun was out today and by Christmas Day it is supposed to be back into at least the 40s if not warmer.  That is my kind of Christmas!  Maybe the mountains will have had more snow than we had here.

Late January should bring us some sort of update - an hopefully an EP filing!!!  Still counting down the days, but I can't believe how close it finally feels.  I hope lots of other waiting families get good news in January to make 2012 start off with a bang!
