progress

I worked this week on finishing the painting in A's closet.  We got a snow storm this week that caused several power outages in the area.  We were ok for the first two days, and then at the end of day 2, just before I almost had finished painting for the evening, the power went out.  Yikes!  But I finished painting this morning and was FINALLY able to get some stuff in his closet and on the bookshelves.  It's nice to have all this out of bags and boxes!!

I love the shelves in his closet, and his toys look pretty good there for now!  M will eventually build him a toy chest.... eventually!  Before we get to that, we'll fix up his dresser and do a Seuss-like bookcase.

I was really worried I'd end up with some duplicates on books.  These have been in bags for so long that I've forgotten what I bought and what I didn't... so far I think I'm ok!  This was so fun to do even though there's alot left.  I guess this is the nesting phase of the paper pregnancy?  Not sure.... even though I got alot done, the rest of the room still looks like this...

I'll clear out some of the rest of that in the next few days and then we can start on the Seuss painting on the walls.
