Lunar New Year

Last weekend we went to the Lunar New Year celebration at the adoption agency.  We had a great time and met some new families and their kids and got to hear their stories.  We also got to show off pictures of little A!  We had good food and got to see the lion dance again.  The lions walked around the crowd and got up on tables and chairs so we got a good look at them!  I can’t wait until little A is here to go to the events with us and hear the story of the lion dance and meet other families.

Last week our I-600 was sent to the USCIS, so we’ll be getting fingerprints again soon and hopefully will have this step completed in about 8 weeks.

This week little A got his first Valentine’s Day gifts – a little basketball from Great Grandma H and a giraffe from Grandma L.  The giraffe is one that plays soothing sounds to help him go to sleep.  Happy heart day A!
